The full name for this game is Space Griffin VF-9. It was an early playstation one game that was released in a long box case. The game was released in America with English vocals throughout the game for all the various characters. The player controls a character called 'kid' by all the other interactive characters. The game takes place on a station in space. You are a mech pilot on a space station where something has gone wrong. Throughout the game the player is exploring the various floors of the station. A strange creature appears and strange occurrences begin to occur to the player and the other crew members. This is where the player is first introduced into the main story line.

Average play time to complete the game is around 10 hours, but more experienced players may find it taking only a couple of hours. The game has rpg elements such as equip items, character inventories, and storyline development. Load times vary from a few seconds to just under a minute.

If your life reaches zero and you do not save you will have to start over. It does not offer to let you continue. A save file for this game requires at least 7 blocks of memory. If you use too much of your ammo you will have to start over. This game has a limited number of items and a limited number of weaponry.
