Sky Pacific is a Fijian pay tv owned by Fiji Television which is a direct-to-home satellite delivered service which carries 16 pay channels to subscribers in Fiji and across the Pacific.

Channels available

In 2006, Sky added 4 new channels to its original 12, making it a 16 channel network.

It operates on a digital platform and its encrypted signals are delivered from the base station (Fiji TV) upward to a satellite and directed back to earth to households.

Overseas affiliates

Sky Pacific currently has distribution deals with five of its neighbouring Pacific island countries.

NOTE: in Sept 2011 the satellite was supposed to be swapped out for a brand new one....

Anybody knows if this was done and what the new SkyPac footprint is???

Thanks
