Hasegawa Shigure

She was born in Nihonmachi] Odenmacho. Her parents were merchants. Her work Old Tale Nihonmachi documents her childhood.[1]
In 1923 Hasegawa and Okada Yachiyo began efforts to establish a literary magazine which was launched in 1928.[2]
