  • Sraffa-Hayek debate - debate between Piero Sraffa and Friedrich Hayek in 1930s. Firstly, Hayek of LSE reviews John Maynard Keynes's Treatise on Money (1930). Keynes replied to Hayek. After this, Keynes asked Sraffa to write a critical review of Prices and Production for the Economic Journal. His review was published. Hayek's response and Sraffa's rejoinder was published after this. In this controversy between Cambridge and LSE, The general consensus about the debate is that Sraffa got the better of Hayek in the exchange.
