Quaiser Khalid (Urdu/Arabic: قیصر خالد)(Hindi : कैसर खालीद) is an officer from Indian Police Service[1] and an Urdu shayer (poet). Quaiser has written two books on Urdu Ghazals which is available in Hindi and Urdu languages, [2][3] and winner of Maharashtra State Urdu Sahitya Academy Award .[4][5]

Poetry

Quaiser Khalid started as a writer in 2005 when he edited and published the poetry collection of famous poet Syed Mohammad Ali Shaad Azimabadi.[6] His first book on Urdu Ghazal was awarded with Maharahstra state Urdu Sahitya Academy Award.[7]

Quaiser Khalid is also a founder of non-profit and social organization Pasbaan-e-adab which organises cultural events in urdu and hindi with an objective to promote Harmony with literature.[8][9][10]
