All 290 seats to the Islamic Consultative Assembly
146 seats are needed for a majority

The next legislative election in Iran is scheduled for February 2020, four years after the previous legislative election in 2016.[1]

Analysis

Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf is expected to field candidates who are regarded his protégé,[2] while reformers allegedly have no compromise for their strategy.[3]
