Jackson Township is one of fourteen townships in Cass County, Indiana. As of the 2020 census, its population was 2,773 (down from 2,876 at 2010[4]) and contained 1,246 housing units.

History

Jackson Township was organized on June 6, 1847 in a meeting at the home of William Frush.[5] It was named for Andrew Jackson, seventh President of the United States.[6]

Jackson Township covers an area of 30.05 square miles (77.8 km2); 0.02 square miles (0.052 km2) (0.07 percent) of this is water.
