Head _is_ superfluous

Why was the note about sed making head superfluous deleted? This is basic Unix design.

Head was a rather obvious mistake someone that didn't understand Unix made, I think it's important to point out that it dosn't fit on the Unix philosphy and that there is a more correct and powerful alternative that is recomended instead. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Lost.goblin (talkcontribs)

head(1) is a very common utility. It is not superfluous just because Plan 9 folks are design elegance purists. jni (delete)...just not interested 08:55, 30 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
