Phrasing:

As far as my knowledge of hindi goes these terms are used to refer to any ones relatives. e.g (unka pita = his father). Wont it be more correct to remove all the 'your's? e.g.:

Brother's children

Bhatija - Brother's Son

Bhatiji - Brother's Daughter

OR

Brother's children

Bhatija - Ones Brother's Son

Bhatiji - Ones Brother's Daughter

My vote for the first one.

Move to wiktionary?

This article just lists the Hindi words for the various family relations. Non-Hindi-speaking Hindus use different words for these, so "Hindu Family Tree" doesn't really make much sense. This should probably be moved to Wiktionary. utcursch | talk 03:32, 9 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I think so too.Staticd (talk) 07:16, 21 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, this stub should be deleted and moved to Wiktionary or turned into a much larger discussion of kinship terms in Hindi-Urdu overall. Rashad Ullah (talk) 19:08, 19 July 2017 (UTC)Rashad_Ullah[reply]
