The IBM PS/2 CL57SX is the first notebook with a color TFT screen released by IBM in 1992. It was released a few months before the introduction of the ThinkPad series.
Specifications
It is based on the Micro Channel Architecture.[1] It contained a 386SX on 20MHz, between 2 and 16MiB RAM, 10.4" color TFT, weighted 11lbs and had a trackball.[2]
It can run IBM OS/2.
It was priced at $5,995 and available from April 1992.[3][4]
Reception
It was not favorable received by the market.[5]
