George Bedford Daniel (born 23 March 1990) is an English drummer, record producer, and musician.[1][2] He came to prominence as the drummer and producer for pop rock band the 1975.[3][4][5]
Together with schoolmates Matty Healy, Ross MacDonald, and Adam Hann, Daniel formed the 1975 in 2002.[6][7] The band has released four extended plays before releasing their self-titled studio album in 2013.[8] They followed it with I Like It When You Sleep, for You Are So Beautiful yet So Unaware of It (2016), A Brief Inquiry into Online Relationships (2018), Notes on a Conditional Form (2020),[9] and Being Funny in a Foreign Language (2022).[10] Each of their studio albums reached number one on the UK Albums Chart and garnered critical acclaim.[11][12]
