== Career ==
Together with schoolmates [[Matty Healy]], [[Adam Hann]] and [[Ross MacDonald]], Daniel formed [[the 1975]] in 2002. The band, then being managed by Jamie Oborne, has remained unsigned despite meeting every major recording label due to their genre-hopping approach. As of 2022, Daniel is in a relationship with English singer [[Charli XCX]].
