Švėtė (Lithuanian) or Svēte (Latvian) is a river in Northern part of Lithuania (in Šiauliai and Joniškis districts) and Southern part of Latvia. Švėtė is a left tributary of Lielupe River. It begins in Tulominai surroundings about 16 km to south east from Kuršėnai and flows in North course. Švėtė passes Žagarė city near Latvian border. Švėtė joins with Lielupe about 8 km to north west from Jelgava city.

The main tributaries are Šakyna, Žarė, Tervete, Bērze (from left side), Žvairilas, Bukiškis, Juodupis, Katmilžis, Vilkija (from right side).

Švėtė's upper course drains in dry summer.
