For Let's TV Play Classic can someone please capitalize the words Play and Classic in the title? I dunno how. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 81.249.230.64 (talk) 11:41, 30 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

The Dude with the Info

[edit]

Also, some of the things here are difficult to cite for me, but I will explain where I got my information. On the Let's TV Play Classic official Japanese site (now archived), there are explanations and photos each boss, character and other gameplay information in the respective sections describing each console, except there is no information or image of the boss Gaius. There are also images of the games that appear though when you click on one of the nostalgia icons on the main page that slides to reveal the games that come with that console, and that includes a better picture of the Space Invaders boss with the electric beam and the location of the boss in the game, and there is a blurry picture of the third form of Gaius with two swords, which I was able to confirm on the Japanese Wikipedia Article of Gladiator that he has two swords, but its not on the American one even though there is information about the Taito Nostalgia version of the game. As for the information that the original characters were playable with the new bosses i saw in Lets TV Play Classic Youtube Playthroughs that on the high score screens of the game there were icons to indicate which character had attained the high score and some of the default high scores featured icons of the characters from the original games, and in the arrangements there were spaces on the menus where the option to play as the original characters would go, especially on the Kiki Kaikai Kackremboh select screen which by default says select character but only features Kackremboh. I do not know for sure if you have to beat the game to unlock them; perhaps you need to use the Arashi animation trick on the title screen or play both the original and arrangement games once, but beating the game seems to be the most likely thing. There are also three options when you select a game from the game select screen and see the preview of the game, perhaps one of them allows you to tweak dip switches for the game and the others take you to the game or return you to the game select screen, but this needs more investigation. I also looked at screenshots of each game that were posted online to understand the gameplay such as where I saw a screenshot of Mappy knocking bells from the roof of the game Mappy: Revenge of Nyamco, which did not take any guesswork to figure out how they were used because they appeared in the first Mappy game, but i did not make assumptions as to how the gameplay worked. Some of these screenshots appeared on ChangeVWorld's site. Perhaps we could get him to do more videos about these systems.Oh, and I also read articles in Japanese to find out more about the gameplay of each game. One more thing; dont change the title of Amazons Golden Castle to Amazones Gladiator; here we are using Westernized Japanese names not american names so lets keep that consistent. Oh and this information has been 99.9 percent verified except for how to unlock the original characters in the arrangement games but since this is a low importance article not many people will contribute to it and I believe my collected information about Lets TV Play Classic is the biggest on the web so unless there is any more concrete proof please dont remove any information as I have compiled everything known about these games on the web and am afraid that this information could dissappear and not be available to interested parties. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 83.200.16.37 (talkcontribs) 12:49, 3 July 2013

Lets TV Play Classic

[edit]

The deal with that edit was that there was no real way to cite it,but it is obvious that the sprite for tiger heli is the same in both games if you look at the sprites for the helicopter on the japanese website under taito nostalgia 2: http://archive.tamashii.jp/lyvp/play/t2slap2.html and the gif of the sprites for the helicopter on this web page: http://strategywiki.org/wiki/Tiger-Heli. I would site better examples than this but there is a lack of information about Lets TV Play Classic on the web. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 90.3.140.231 (talk) 17:41, 14 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Here are the videos I looked at for info; is it allright to site them for lack of other information on the web? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z-0NPzqjMCU http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OgMHCkmjl_A http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KZ_QAWaR2TU http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gdKqs8pMihk http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=blwiO4qwdU0 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_4GEJAWsRdg https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2ivDQNtb4zc — Preceding unsigned comment added by 83.200.16.37 (talk) 18:33, 3 July 2013‎ (UTC)[reply]
