I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of List of Amazon.com products and services's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

Possible Split

[edit]

Someone else made this section but I've made a draft article Draft:Amazon Prime and plan on expanding it to a full article and moving it because Amazon prime is a big thing and is only getting bigger with things like prime now and drones etc EoRdE6(Come Talk to Me!) 14:10, 6 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Done: See Amazon Prime. EoRdE6(Come Talk to Me!) 22:05, 21 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Requested move 5 October 2017

[edit]
The following is a closed discussion of a requested move. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section on the talk page. Editors desiring to contest the closing decision should consider a move review. No further edits should be made to this section.

The result of the move request was: All moved. "List of Amazon locations" might be seen as ambiguous with the Amazon rainforest etc., but there isn't really any list on Wikipedia which covers such a topic, so nothing really to disambiguate against.  — Amakuru (talk) 10:39, 12 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

– In line with recent move of Amazon.com --> Amazon (company). See Talk:Amazon_(company)#Requested_move_19_September_2017 for the main discussion. Daylen (talk) 01:19, 5 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

The above discussion is preserved as an archive of a requested move. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section on this talk page or in a move review. No further edits should be made to this section.

Article is becoming too large

[edit]

As Amazon continues to announce new products and services, this list now has thirty sections (and is missing others like Prime Reading, Prime Wardrobe, and Amazon Launchpad). I am currently working on List of Amazon brands, which should help. However, services such as Prime Now and Prime Air are addressed in the Amazon Prime article, do we need them here too? Daylen (talk) 16:37, 19 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I've started a cleanup of this article. Below is a list of what I've changed:
  • Moved Prime-exclusive products and services to Amazon Prime.
  • Split most private label brand content to List of Amazon brands.
  • Removed country-specific, limited-rollout programs that don't meet notability guidelines (Amazon Garage, Tickets, Local, and STEM Club).
  • Merged departments on Amazon.com into the main Retail goods section.
  • Made Amazon Studies part of the section focusing on internally-developed content.
  • Moved music service with other digital content.
  • Merged all retail stores into a single section, linking out to full articles on each concept.
  • Merged AmazonSupply into Amazon Business, its successor.
  • Removed unnecessary bolding and linking to make the article's style consistent.

Pet supplies

[edit]

Pet supplies are missing from the main article on amazon (company). I had hoped to find information here. But the only mention is Wag.com. It doesn't say when Amazon started selling pet supplies on the amazon.com site. Please add the information. 2600:1700:1C64:8240:103F:ED5E:5AE8:DDF0 (talk) 21:29, 30 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
