6ix Rising moved to draftspace

[edit]

An article you recently created, 6ix Rising, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Deletion discussion about Da Degrees

[edit]

Hello, TwinTurbo, and welcome to Wikipedia. I edit here too, under the username North8000, and I thank you for your contributions.

I wanted to let you know, however, that I've started a discussion about whether an article that you created, Da Degrees, should be deleted, as I am not sure that it is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia in its current form. Your comments are welcome at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Da Degrees.

You might like to note that such discussions usually run for seven days and are not ballot-polls. And, our guide about effectively contributing to such discussions is worth a read. Last but not least, you are highly encouraged to continue improving the article; just be sure not to remove the tag about the deletion nomination from the top.

If you have any questions, please leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|North8000}}. And, don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~ . Thanks!

Request reason:

I was blocked back in April 2020 for committed sockpuppetry. I have since learnt that such things go against Wikipedia guidelines and I won't engage in activities like this again (Refer back to previous unblock request). I wish to continue making positive contributions in line with what is expected of Wikipedia and understand the outcomes of sockpuppetry. I hope you guys reconsider my unblock request under WP:SO. • Yeah, I don’t see anything either. I’m fine unblocking with a one account restriction. TwinTurbo: do you agree to only use this account and not to use any other account, even if it would otherwise be within policy? That is to say, the use of any account other than this one will be considered socking in the future? TonyBallioni (talk) 21:46, 22 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on NorthSideBenji requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion discussion, at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/NorthSideBenji. When a page has substantially identical content to that of a page deleted after a discussion, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Speedy deletion nomination of Robin Banks (rapper)

[edit]

Hello, TwinTurbo,

Welcome to Wikipedia! I edit here too, under the username John B123 and I thank you for your contributions.

I wanted to let you know, however, that I have tagged an article that you started, Robin Banks (rapper), for deletion, because a consensus decision previously decided that it wasn't suitable for inclusion in the encyclopedia. If you wish to restore a page deleted via a deletion discussion, please use the deletion review process instead, rather than reposting the content of the page.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top. If the page is already deleted by the time you come across this message and you wish to retrieve the deleted material, please contact the deleting administrator.

For any further query, please leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|John B123}}. And, don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~ . Thanks!

Why submission rejected draft of Draft:Kavita_Joshi

[edit]

Hello, TwinTurbo, I edit a draft since and the topic have sufficiently notability for inclusion in Wikipedia. but some other editor having problem with that... kindly look into this profile.

User:Eyebeller sir kindly advice how can i prove it... She had 28 films which can be seen on youtube and views are very heigh and actress work in Ayodhya ki Ramleela which was very popular among Indian audience. please check views on her film over internet. if these is not sufficient to prove person notability so what can prove it. let's me know. if this is not sufficient so please tell me what is next to do provide notability.

Recent article in media : https://www.jagran.com/uttarakhand/nainital-the-language-thresholds-of-poetry-become-the-pride-of-haryana-film-industry-national-girls-day2021-21301331.html

Hi @Ibablubaghel:, it seems that the bulk of notability for the coverage of the subject seems to be in Hindi. Although, in my opinion, this still shows notability, I would recommend making the article on the hindi wikipedia first to gain approval as I believe somebody over there would be able to confirm notability first. I would then suggest you create the article on the English Wikipedia as a translated article (per WP:RFT) after the article has been reviewed by an administrator on the Hindi Wikipedia. Hope this helps. . TwinTurbo (talk) 18:00, 24 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you for review but Hindi wikipedia already exist so kindly let's me know where i get recommendation for the subject.

Hindi Wikipedia here : कविता जोशी

@Ibablubaghel: I have added the correct template to the top of the draft, I would recommend adding a couple more sources into the draft (in English preferably) before resubmitting, and letting the reviewers know that the article has been imported from the Hindi Wikipedia and that it meets notability guidelines there. Let them know the page is a translation of the Hindi article and a lot of the sources included are in hindi. TwinTurbo (talk) 12:06, 25 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Category:Cooli Carlito requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section C1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the category has been empty for seven days or more and is not a disambiguation category, a category redirect, a featured topics category, under discussion at Categories for discussion, or a project category that by its nature may become empty on occasion.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Cooli Carlito, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". Fast Wave Communications and Draft:Craig Davis (entrepreneur) are both supported by fake news black hat SEO references. You have deliberately tried to circumvent the spam blacklist which blocks some of these fake news websites. There are other things about Fast Wave Communications that make me suspect that you are editing Wikipedia for undisclosed payments. MER-C 12:43, 6 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

TwinTurbo (block logactive blocksglobal blockscontribsdeleted contribsfilter logcreation logchange block settingsunblockcheckuser (log))

Request reason:

Hi, I admit that I did try to include some references into the article which were banned by Wikipedia, but the notification said something along the lines of "give a reason why you think it's okay to add these references" in which I would have. As with Fast Wave Communications, I did mention in my edit that I got a notification of a depreciated source, however, was unaware that this was "fake news black hat SEO references" because I thought it had considerable information on the subject and I wrote the article in a neutral point of view to minimise bias (I believe only one reference that is considered "fake news black hate SEO reference" was used on this page). I would like to point out that I usually create articles of people I am a follower of (generally in music but also social media, etc.). Craig Davis has an ample following on social media hence my reason to create an article for submission. I created a page on him in the draft space because I wanted it to be checked against the notability guidelines (the same way I have done for Draft:Houdini (rapper)) as I was slightly unsure and wanted it reviewed by a page reviewer. I would also like to point out that I have not been paid for the creation of the article(s), and haven't been paid for editing any article in the past. I did attempt to bypass certain sources in the article and did not think of it of great importance as I haven't been enlightened on the consequences of such actions. TwinTurbo (talk) 14:11, 6 February 2021 (UTC)

Decline reason:

I think, for now, this block is serving to protect our project.

You admit that you were intentionally violating our policies -, now that you were caught. You intentionally circumvented the technical mechanisms in place to keep you from doing this.

Why should we trust you now that you're saying you aren't engaging in paid editing? SQLQuery me! 16:41, 6 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I have been a Wikipedian for over 9 years and made contributions to pages that I am a follower of and believe to be of notable standard. I do admit that I tried to include references by archiving them, but I have only ever done it this once as I was unaware of the consequences of this and assumed it would benefit the article. A simple message or a warning informing me of the severity would have been enough to ensure I would not have done it again. I will respect this block and abide by it and appeal again in the future. I stand by my statement that I have not been paid to write any articles since the creation of my Wikipedia account. TwinTurbo (talk) 14:38, 7 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

The multiple fake news black hat sources I am referring to are not the ones you got a deprecated source warning for. MER-C 15:19, 6 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
It's the archived sources, right? (Draft:Craig Davis (entrepreneur): 1,2 3, 4,). It was flagged with a Redbox I did not pay much attention to this but assumed they would be okay as they seemed informative. I wasn't aware that they were fake news black hat sources (I don't know much about these). Is there a Wiki essay on these as I would like to educate myself on this, there's no mention of "black hat" or fake news" on WP:V. TwinTurbo (talk) 15:33, 6 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
The archived sources are indeed black hat SEO, but so are some other sources you cited. MER-C 16:24, 6 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Which other ones? Every source I found in the article were found from a Google search on the subject. Also, I'm not entirely sure of the meaning of the term "black hat" is there a Wikipedia Essay in which I can learn about this. TwinTurbo (talk) 14:38, 7 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Almost every single one. I cannot believe it possible that you evaluated those sources in any way. To be honest, I stumbled across that travesty at Draft:Craig Davis (entrepreneur) and was on my way to this talk page to block for UDPE. Kuru (talk) 20:33, 7 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@Kuru, MER-C, and SQL: Please take a moment to look at this edit, where I expressed my concern about this issue. Thank you. Magnolia677 (talk) 21:33, 7 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@Kuru (talk · contribs) If I am being entirely honest with you, if I see something written about the subject online I include it in. What I noticed with previous articles I have created; it is usually moderated by others and unreliable sources are usually removed. And @Magnolia677 (talk · contribs) I genuinely did not see how you came to the assumption of me being paid for editing initially, which is why I was a bit confused to see why I had been blocked from editing because of the same reason. After your concerns, I took time out to educate myself on WP:UPE (so if I was being paid for creating articles, I would at least know to disclose it). I genuinely have not been paid a penny for any of my contributions on Wikipedia. I am taking this time to educate myself on unreliable sources to ensure I don't face further blocks (if I am ever unblocked). But regardless, I have enjoyed my time editing on Wikipedia, and I am glad I have provided some information online that I had a hard time finding, so that others could find it at ease. If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on The Psycho's Back requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a musical recording which does not indicate why its subject is important or significant, and where the artist's article does not exist or is eligible for deletion itself. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for music.
