Off-season Atlantic hurricanes (3rd supplementary nomination)

[edit]

This topic is already featured. It is being re-nominated to add additional items. See Wikipedia talk:Featured topics/Off-season Atlantic hurricanes for discussions of the topic's previous nominations. The additional items are:

  1. Tropical Storm Bonnie (2016)

This topic is already featured. It is also being re-nominated to remove items which are no longer part of the topic. See Wikipedia:Featured topic candidates/Off-season Atlantic hurricanes/archive1 for the archived discussion of the topic's successful nomination. The removed item is:

  1. Hurricane Nicole (1998)
  2. 1978 January subtropical storm
  3. 1992 April subtropical storm

In goes one, out goes another. Bonnie was created in May, and has been a GA since July. It should've been added then, but sometimes you forget, until today, when Hurricane Nicole (1998) was redirected - its existence wasn't needed (I'm the author, I should know) as it is largely a science-based article on a fairly normal hurricane, with sufficient coverage in the season article. ♫ Hurricanehink (talk) 18:24, 8 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Like a Virgin (1st supplementary nomination)

[edit]

This topic is already featured. It is being re-nominated to add additional items. See Wikipedia talk:Featured topics/Like a Virgin for discussions of the topic's previous nominations. The additional items are:

  1. Like a Virgin & Other Big Hits!
  2. Like a Surgeon ("Weird Al" Yankovic song)

Hi team, I am nominating Like a Virgin & Other Big Hits! and "Like a Surgeon ("Weird Al" Yankovic song)" as an addition to this already featured topic. Like a Virgin & Other Big Hits! recently passed GA and is from this era by American singer Madonna. Hence with consensus will add it to the existing topic. —IB [ Poke ] 10:54, 1 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Support see no problem in including this. igordebraga 17:09, 11 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]
I see no problem with this as well, thus supprting this. Great work as usual. Cartoon network freak (talk) 07:26, 17 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Briarcliff Manor (1st supplementary nomination)

[edit]

This topic is already featured. It is being re-nominated to add additional items. See Wikipedia talk:Featured topics/Briarcliff Manor for discussions of the topic's previous nominations. The additional items are:

  1. Trump National Golf Club Westchester

I am nominating the newly-created Trump National Golf Club Westchester article to be added to this list of notable subjects related to Briarcliff Manor. Thank you. ɱ (talk) · vbm · coi) 23:28, 9 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Retired Pacific hurricanes (4th supplementary nomination)

[edit]

This topic is already featured. It is being re-nominated to add additional items. See Wikipedia talk:Featured topics/Retired Pacific hurricanes for discussions of the topic's previous nominations. The additional items are:

  1. Hurricane Odile
  2. Hurricane Patricia
Contributor(s): Cyclonebiskit (talk · contribs), Yellow Evan (talk · contribs), Jason Rees (talk · contribs), Hurricanehink (talk · contribs)

Adding two retired storms that never got added in. Somehow, no one noticed Odile wasn't a GA for some 18 months after retirement, and last spring, Patricia was also retired. With both Odile and Patricia up to par and GA's, I can safely add both to the topic. YE Pacific Hurricane 01:46, 10 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Inside No. 9 (first supplementary nomination)

[edit]

This topic is already featured. It is being re-nominated to add additional items. See Wikipedia talk:Featured topics/Inside No. 9 for discussions of the topic's previous nominations. The additional items are:

  1. La Couchette
  2. The 12 Days of Christine
  3. The Trial of Elizabeth Gadge
  4. Cold Comfort (Inside No. 9)
  5. Nana's Party
  6. Séance Time

Adding in the episodes from the second series. There will be a third series, but it is not due to air any time soon. Josh Milburn (talk) 22:22, 30 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Guitar Hero (4th supplementary nomination)

[edit]

This topic is already featured. It is being re-nominated to add additional items. See Wikipedia talk:Featured topics/Guitar Hero for discussions of the topic's previous nominations. The additional items are:

  1. Guitar Hero Live
  2. List of songs in Guitar Hero Live

Already a Good Topic. This is to add the above GA to the topic. There is also List of songs in Guitar Hero Live which would eventually need to be added but I have not had a chance to get that up to spec for GLs (though it's close, and really only needs a bit of reception info and source cleanup to process at GL), however, it's also not on the same timing issue as it was created much later after the game article. --MASEM (t) 01:06, 19 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Those to are probably ok. They seem to be long enough to go either way. But GHL is definitely really short. Nergaal (talk) 17:42, 9 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Category 5 Pacific hurricanes (3rd supplementary nomination)

[edit]

This topic is already featured. It is being re-nominated to add additional items. See Wikipedia talk:Featured topics/Category 5 Pacific hurricanes for discussions of the topic's previous nominations. The additional items are:

  1. Hurricane Patricia
Removing
  1. 1959 Mexico hurricane
Contributor(s): Cyclonebiskit

Updating to include the most recent Category 5 (Patricia) and removing a storm that was downgraded to Category 4 (1959). Both are GAs so the ratio of GA/FA doesn't change and the topic can retain Featured status. ~ Cyclonebiskit (chat) 21:27, 10 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Support. As the GA reviewer for Patricia, I can attest that it fits the criteria to be included in the topic. ♫ Hurricanehink (talk) 17:02, 11 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Mana series (1st supplementary nomination)

[edit]

This topic is already featured. It is being re-nominated to add additional items. See Wikipedia talk:Featured topics/Mana series for discussions of the topic's previous nominations. The additional items are:

  1. Rise of Mana
  2. Adventures of Mana

When I nominated this topic for GT last year, I felt pretty confident that it was finalized, and that no more articles would be created. I was wrong, as it turns out! ProtoDrake proved himself again a master of finding Japanese sources to build a GA for the free-to-play mobile game Rise of Mana, and when Square Enix went ahead and released another mobile game in the series this February, IDV and Judgesurreal777 outdid themselves in creating an article for the mobile game Adventures of Mana the day after it was released, and getting it to GA within a few weeks. (Also, I got Seiken Densetsu 3 to FA in a slow-moving attempt to get the topic to FT level).

Anyways, we now have 2 more GAs that need to be added to the now-once-again-complete topic. I won't say that we'll never be here again... but it should, at least, be a while. --PresN 18:18, 17 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Support - Awesome that we got a Rise of Mana article, and to see Adventures of Mana article done! Judgesurreal777 (talk) 19:05, 17 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

This topic is already featured. It is being re-nominated to add additional items. See Wikipedia talk:Featured topics/Off-season Atlantic hurricanes for discussions of the topic's previous nominations. The additional items are:

  1. Tropical Storm Ana (2015)
  2. Hurricane Alex (2016)

This nomination is to add two additional storms that formed in the off-season over the past two years. As both are now good articles, the topic should be expanded to include them. ♫ Hurricanehink (talk) 03:59, 22 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

1933 Atlantic hurricane season (1st supplementary nomination)

[edit]

This topic is already featured. It is being re-nominated to add additional items. See Wikipedia talk:Featured topics/1933 Atlantic hurricane season for discussions of the topic's previous nominations. The additional items are:

  1. 1933 Florida–Mexico hurricane

@CapeVerdeWave: recently created a new article in the 1933 Atlantic hurricane season, which was quickly copyedited, expanded, and reached A-class. It might even be a future FA candidate. The article is just as substantial as the other storms, and so it should be added to the topic. ♫ Hurricanehink (talk) 20:51, 24 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Support - good addition; do you anticipate any others? --PresN 01:48, 25 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

There is an outside chance that Hurricane 13 of that year could get an article. Is was deadly but short-lived, and it affected Mexico, where info is hit or miss. Hurricanehink mobile (talk) 02:24, 25 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Key video games (3rd supplementary nomination)

[edit]

This topic is already featured. It is being re-nominated to add additional items. See Wikipedia talk:Featured topics/Key video games for discussions of the topic's previous nominations. The additional items are:

  1. Angel Beats! (visual novel)

I am nominating Key's latest title, Angel Beats! (visual novel), to satisfy criterion 3(c) regarding adding articles to the topic that are currently ineligible to be at least a GA. I had nominated the article for GA after the first volume was released, but the review failed on the basis that because it is an episodic game, the article will be ineligible for GA status until all six volumes are out. However, that is likely to take several years, as only a tentative release schedule of six months between each volume has been given so far, and that will probably change as time goes on. The GA review I linked acts as an individual quality audit stipulated by criterion 3(c), and the article has now been updated to include the recommended improvements.-- 23:26, 9 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

To be fair, if six months between instalments is the expected release pattern, I don't see any problem with the article satisfying GA criteria on those grounds. It clearly won't be outdated that quickly—we have featured content more prone to flux than that, after all—and seems of high enough quality to pass the bar on all other criteria. GRAPPLE X 23:32, 9 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]
GA reviewer here- I'd be tentatively willing to pass it as a "just the first episode" article if all the episodes aren't going to be close together; there just wasn't any information in the article regarding how spaced out the episodes are (probably because there hasn't been any announcements around that). If it really is going to be 6-12 months between episodes, I can revisit the GAN. --PresN 01:41, 10 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

York City F.C. (3rd supplementary nomination)

[edit]

This topic is already featured. It is being re-nominated to add additional items. See Wikipedia talk:Featured topics/York City F.C. for discussions of the topic's previous nominations. The additional items are:

  1. History of York City F.C. (1980–present)
Contributor(s): Mattythewhite

History of York City F.C. was split into two articles due to its size upon expansion, and I am seeking the addition of the second part to this topic, after it recently attained GA status. Thanks, Mattythewhite (talk) 09:28, 17 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]
