New Juventus signing Carlos Alcaraz has landed in Turin after completing his transfer from Southampton.

The midfielder performed the medical tests in England to speed up the process and he emerged from the Caselle Airport in Turin this evening, after the transfer window had closed in Italy.

It is a loan for €3.7m plus €0.2m in bonuses, which could go up to €1.9m if certain conditions are met.

There is also an option to buy at the end of the season for €49.5m, payable over three instalments, that can be increased with performance-related bonuses.

According to Sky Sport Italia transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio, there are some curious agreements in the deal meaning Juventus will have to pay Southampton more if Alcaraz does not play regularly.
