We offer a range of services to help people impacted by depression, bipolar disorder and related mood conditions feel understood, supported, and empowered to live a fulfilled life. Aware Support Services include: Support Groups Nationwide Support Line: 1800 80 48 48 Support Mail: supportmail@aware.ie Life Skills Group & Online CBT based programmes Education: Wellness at Work - an informative positive mental health session for companies Life Skills for Schools - a free educational programme offered to students aged 15-18, designed to help young people learn new ways to deal with challenges in life Information: We have a wide range of information and resources available to you and your loved ones.     The Solace Café is an out-of-hours crisis mental health support service delivered by Aware, in partnership with St. John of God Community Mental Health Services and the HSE. 📍 Where: The Solace Café operates from Urbun Café, Unit 2 Watermint, Old Bray Road, Cabinteely, Dublin 18 📅 When: Thursday to Sunday 5-10pm Our compassionate team is here to provide a safe, supportive environment for those in need of urgent mental health care outside of regular hours. This service is for any adult experiencing a crisis, supporting someone in crisis or experiencing a mental health difficulty that is causing emotional overwhelm or a feeling of being unable to cope. Book your appointment now at solacecafe.ie. If you are at immediate risk of harm, please attend your local A&E or call 999 for assistance.

    Feeling overwhelmed? Try these 5 simple steps to calm your threat response and bring yourself back to the present moment: 1. Pause - Take a moment to stop what you're doing 2. Breathe - Inhale deeply and exhale slowly 3. Notice, Feel, Move - Observe your surroundings, feel your body, and move gently 4. Grounding - Notice your feet firmly on the ground 5. 54321 Exercise - Name 5 things you see, 4 things you hear, 3 things you touch, 2 things you smell, and 1 thing you taste Taking these steps can help center your mind and body.
