Investing in inclusion, equity and diversity is really important to us. By supporting DCU Access and Dublin City University's Access to the Workplace programme, we help young people from different backgrounds to avail of a third level education and work experience. It’s a pleasure to welcome Sofia Priniotaki onboard: “Being a Communications Intern this summer in BT has been an amazing opportunity for which I will always be grateful. Having never worked in the business world before, I am constantly learning and having new experiences every time I step foot in the workplace. It is great to be in an office environment and gain an understanding of how a global business operates, without being in a classroom! This experience has been so important to me as I feel more confident in myself and my work. The Communications team is incredible and always encourage and support me to get the most out of my time here in BT. Everyone in the office has made me feel very welcome and they never hesitate to sit with me to discuss their role in the company. I have gained amazing insights and I am thankful to be able to use this knowledge going into my second year of university.” BT Ireland, BT Group BT Business, Priscilla O'Regan Shay Walsh Daire Keogh Kyela Fanagan John Moriarty Nicole Chesser Jason Sherlock Fore more on the programme and supporters, visit https://lnkd.in/ebfmXYmj #education #careers #Inclusion #culture

🌟 This week, we hosted our annual BT Activity Day, our long-running initiative to get active while fundraising. 🌟 Whether it was cycling, running, or walking a 10km route from our Grand Canal Plaza office to our Dundrum office (in typical Irish Summer weather of sun, rain, and gale force wind) our colleagues came together in our mutual support for charitable causes. 🌞 🌦 🌬 We are delighted to have raised over €13,000 for Irish Motor Neurone Disease Association and BUMBLEance - two charities that hold a special place in our hearts. #ConnectForGood #ResponsibleBusiness
