Actor Divyenndu who was last seen on the big screen in Kunal Kemmu’s Madgaon Express has received immense popularity for his role in the web series Mirzapur. And while his role as Munna Bhaiyya has been lauded, the makers left fans shocked when at the end of Season 2 Munna Tripathi gets killed. Now, Divyenndu has killed all hopes of fans who assumed he would return in the new season, in an interview with Humans Of Bombay, the actor confirmed that he is not a part of Mirzapur Season 3. Sharing that the character had started affecting his personality and taking him to a dark place, Divyenndu confirmed not reprising his role.

He said in the interview to Humans of Bombay, “I shall declare, I am not a part of Mirzapur Season 3. When I was in character, it was affecting my personality a lot. We shouldn’t over-romanticise going too deep into a character, because it is not easy. At times, it used to get really dark for me. I felt suffocated. It’s so tricky that you don’t even realise that you are in that zone. It’s only when you come out of it do you realise how dark it was.”
