Pranysqa Mishra, 9, wooed the judges on America’s Got Talent performing the iconic Tina Turner song River Deep Mountain High, and earned a golden buzzer from Heidi Klum. The Indian-origin girl, who lives in Florida, video-called her grandmother soon after she left the judges speechless.

In a now-viral video, Mishra, donning a pink dress, takes the stage. “I have always loved singing. It makes me happy. When I was four years old, I would pretend I had a microphone, and I would think that I was singing to the whole world.” When asked who she would call first once she gets selected, Mishra says she would call her grandmother as she always wished to see her on a big stage.

Towards the end of the video, Heidi Klum asks Mishra to call her grandmother as she presses the golden buzzer and rushes to hug her. The video also captures Mishra’s elated parents.

Shared on July 4, the video garnered several reactions. One YouTube user said, “She’s so good and Amazing! She definitely deserves the Golden Buzzer.” Another user wrote, “Phenomenal! 9 years old? Unbelievable.”
