Team India returns home

On Wednesday, a special Air India flight arrived at Barbados Airport to bring Team India and stranded journalists back home. The cricket team had been stuck in Barbados since winning the T20 World Cup 2024 due to Hurricane Beryl.

This scene is just before the stampede. Look at the crowd. You can understand how widespread this fraud’s web of illusion is.”

Kalki 2898 AD draws diverse reactions

Following its release on June 27, Kalki 2898 AD has stirred considerable interest with its star-studded cast including Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone, and Kamal Haasan, each playing key roles in this cinematic take on the Mahabharata. Bachchan’s portrayal of Ashwatthama, Dronacharya’s son, has been a focal point of discussions among critics and audiences alike.

While receiving mixed reviews, the film has sparked a range of reactions online. A notable moment emerged when one woman mistakenly interchanged Ashwatthama with ashwagandha, an Ayurvedic herb used to increase energy levels, showcasing the varied interpretations and intriguing conversations sparked by Kalki.

Narrow escape

Amid heavy rain in Rajasthan, road users had a close call when a high-voltage electric pole fell on a car in Sri Ganganagar.

Festive offer

A video of the July 2 incident captured by a bystander went viral, showing a white car parked by the roadside during heavy rain and strong winds. Suddenly, an electric pole topples onto a red car driving by. The damaged car stops next to the parked white car, while a man on a scooter narrowly avoids the falling pole. A man from the white car quickly gets out and shelters under a nearby shed.
