The Inter-Agency Standing Committee (IASC) Global Workshop on Protection from Sexual Exploitation and Abuse and Sexual Harassment (PSEAH) is hosted by the United Nations Global Service Centre (UNGSC) in Brindisi Base.

Over the course of three-days, participants from across the UN system, non-governmental organizations, and funding partners will share best practices from diverse countries, as well global initiatives, with a aim to:

  • enhance collaboration, coordination, and information sharing
  • operationalise a victim and survivor centered approach
  • promote organisational culture change to prevent sexual misconduct
  • improve field capacity for PSEA actions.

*76 participants include PSEA Coordinators from humanitarian contexts worldwide, IASC Technical Advisory Group members with representatives from NGO consortia and the Red Cross/Red Crescent movement, the office of the UN Victim Rights Advocate, and the UN Special Coordinator on improving the UN response to SEA.
