Niels Peder Kristensen (Copenaghen, 2 marzo 1943Copenaghen, 6 dicembre 2014) è stato un entomologo danese.

Biografia

Fu docente presso l'Università di Copenaghen, oltre che curatore delle collezioni del locale museo zoologico.[1][2]

Si è contraddistinto per svariate ricerche e pubblicazioni riguardanti soprattutto la tassonomia e la morfologia dei lepidotteri più primitivi, tra cui le famiglie Micropterigidae e Agathiphagidae. A lui si deve l'attribuzione dello status di superfamiglia al genere Agathiphaga, descritto precedentemente da Dumbleton nel 1952.
