Policy paper based on the results of the 2022-2023 study of the public attitudes towards LGBTIQ+ people in Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, Montenegro, North Macedonia and Serbia

ERA – LGBT Equal Rights Association prepared this policy paper, to provide up to date information and recommendations to policy makers, civil society organizations and the media on how to further protect and advance LGBTIQ+ rights in the Western Balkans region.

“The policy paper has been made possible through the contribution of the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MAECI) to the project named “Understanding and improving public attitudes towards LGBTIQ+ people in the Western Balkans”. The contents of the report don’t necessarily reflect the position of MAECI”.
