The ‘Blue Markets User Engagement and Product Uptake’ Call for Tender, launched by Mercator Ocean International, invites all interested parties to submit proposals to address the needs of blue markets and increase user engagement with Copernicus Marine and the uptake of Copernicus Marine products. Proposals should address the areas of Polar Environment Monitoring, Climate and Adaptation, and Ocean Health. The call closes on 31 May 2024.

This recognition underscores the importance of the Copernicus Marine Service in achieving the objectives of the Mission Ocean and Waters initiative. It also highlights the importance of the Ocean State Report as a valuable document for scientists, members of the blue economy, decision makers, and the public, providing a comprehensive overview on the state of the ocean.

The ‘Coastal & Arctic Hubs Uptake’ call for tender invites all interested parties to submit proposals to facilitate user engagement actions for the Copernicus Coastal and Arctic Thematic Hubs, with a focus on improving their usability to attract new users. The call for tender is open until 26 April 2024.

It serves both as a report on user behaviour and engagement, and as a tool to monitor and identify further actions to improve the Copernicus Marine Service. The 2023 edition is now available online and highlights key achievements and the impact of Copernicus Marine on its users.

The European Digital Twin Ocean (EDITO) has invited ocean twinning projects and national initiatives across Europe to become part of its platform. Led by EDITO-Infra, this call aims to strengthen the European Digital Twin Ocean. Selected applicants will be showcased at the Digital Ocean Forum 2024.
