That's not true. You can read there ("Hola, si vas a procesar listas de Interwikis producidas a partir de wikipedia en otros idiomas sería excelente") that he would be very welcome when he runs multi-login from other wikipedias. The German Wikinews community often likes to change things, that make it necessary, to change very much articles. For that I would use replace.py of the python wikipediabot.
