I stopped running my bot several months ago because of a problem with the pywikipedia framework (it automatically deleted links to edit-locked - but still accessible - projects such as simple.wikiquote, which was unacceptable on en.wikiquote). See for example this bot which was permanently banned for removing links to simple.wq. I planned on asking the pywikipedia developers to correct this but never got around to doing it.
