wikt:ja:User:ごーりきー etc.

The following discussion is closed.

Please check these accounts:

wikt:ja:User:ごーりきー and wikt:ja:User:肥後本芳男 must be a sockpuppet of EMPIS (or YUNA, who were notorious user of jawikt) because of similar disrupting edits. And they are going to carry with insincerity and unfavorable words. --Mtodo 18:07, 27 February 2009 (UTC)

wikt:ja:User:小宮紫乃, wikt:ja:User:Natsuki and wikt:ja:User:六車孝佳 seem to be same user. These 3 accounts voted one after another, so it seems multiple voting. Plus, their edit tendencies are similar to EMPIS, so I suspect they are his sockpuppets. wikt:ja:User:ごーりきー and wikt:ja:User:肥後本芳男 was blocked because of personal attack and slanderous edits. Their edit tendencies are similar to EMPIS. I don't have enough reasons to doubt that wikt:ja:User:Chimganjii and wikt:ja:User:복저개 are EMPIS's sockpuppets. Anyway, please check if they are same users (as EMPIS or these users), or reply at least. --Ninomy 18:00, 28 February 2009 (UTC)
I   confirm user:六車孝佳 and user:ごーりきー (already blocked) are same , also user:艪尼衰螺 and user:ゼーゼーラーラー and user:Natsuki and blocked users :
user:艪尼衰螺
user:YYYR
user:愛海
user:魯尓瀬羅
user:蛾楪賓
user:福田孝行
user:ヌーヌーアーアー
user:EER
user:辞書を良くしない
user:西田千乃

are same . and users 肥後本芳男, 복저개, 尾野日香里, 六車孝佳, ごーりきー, Chimganjii, 小宮紫乃 are   Likely same users with user:empis --Mardetanha talk 19:52, 28 February 2009 (UTC)

And please check if wikt:ja:User:見果てぬ野望(already blocked), wikt:ja:User:霊狗, wikt:ja:User:零苦, wikt:ja:User:ハァビットソン, wikt:ja:User:ワンワンライス, wikt:ja:User:訣別する(already blocked) are the sockpuppet of these blocked user. Hardly had I blocked these account, these accounts appeared, so we suspect they are the sockpuppet of these blocked user. And please check if they use the proxy and its address. Thank you. LERK 23:22, 28 February 2009 (UTC)

Hello LERK, sorry but that is   Declined we do not check users just because they happen to register a bit before or after a vandal,   CheckUser is not for fishing Best regards, --birdy geimfyglið (:> )=| 18:36, 1 March 2009 (UTC)

Thank you, Mardetanha and Spacebirdy, but LERK's request was not for fishing. I have good reason to doubt them as EMPIS's socks. wikt:ja:User:霊狗 and wikt:ja:User:零苦 can be read as "LERK" ("霊"・"零" = lei, "狗"・"苦" = ku, so leiku ~ LERK). These phonetic equivalents are same as wikt:ja:User:魯尓瀬羅(likely to be EMPIS) etc., and this 2 usernames seem to be personal attacks to LERK. wikt:ja:User:見果てぬ野望 and wikt:ja:User:訣別する are also seems to be EMPIS's socks. Their names are challenging phrases ("見果てぬ野望" = "Ambitions not being seen to the end", "訣別する" = "to break with" - but I don't think he broke with ja.wikt after this user creation...), and this is similar to EMPIS. wikt:ja:User:ハァビットソン and wikt:ja:User:ワンワンライス don't seem to be problematic naming. However, these accounts are created in 4 minutes (and when wikt:ja:User:訣別する is added, these 3 accounts are created every 2 minutes). It is EMPIS's usual practice to create a few accounts in very short time. Plus, these 2 accounts are a little similar to this (because of naming tendency). And I add 2 accounts to check.

These 2 accounts have a little similar naming tendency to EMPIS's sock. --Ninomy 02:13, 2 March 2009 (UTC)

Hello Ninomy, thanks for the extended explaination, however can You please explain what You mean by "naming tendency", those accounts which are personal attacks can be checked, best regards, --birdy geimfyglið (:> )=| 07:46, 2 March 2009 (UTC)
Okay. EMPIS tends to create similar-naming accounts. Here are 3 main tendencies (from past EMPIS): 1) personal attack (mainly to sysops, and often using phonetic-equivalent Chinese letters, and this enumeration of Chinese letters doesn't make any sense, e.g. 魯尓瀬羅); 2) challenging phrases (e.g. 辞書のない生活をしよう <"Let's live without any dictionaries>); 3) nonsense/joke Katakana (often sounds like onomatopoeia or something, e.g. ヌーヌーアーアー). 霊狗 and 零苦 come tendency #1, 見果てぬ野望 and 訣別する come tendency #2, ハァビットソン and ワンワンライス come tendency #3. 椎座裏緒 and 庵出戸円寂 seems to come tendency #1, because of nonsense-enumerated Chinese letters, but these accounts don't seem to be personal attack. --Ninomy 14:48, 2 March 2009 (UTC)
Thanks for the answer, I have checked the seemingly insulting account towards LERK and these are the
results

  Confirmed same user:

Who seem to be a sock of EMPIS. Best regards, --birdy geimfyglið (:> )=| 08:38, 4 March 2009 (UTC)

Thank you very much, but I have to add 6 accounts to check:

The name "エッタラッコアボーン" seems to be a personal attack toward w:User:海獺, who is a sysop of ja.wp. Plus, these accounts were created in 4 minutes, very short time. I think they are created by one person, probably EMPIS (or its imitation). --Ninomy 09:10, 4 March 2009 (UTC)

I am really sorry, but joking/nonsense accounts are not a basis for a checkuser. We can look at the personal attack one, but anything else would be fishing and too few reasons for a check. Best regards, --birdy geimfyglið (:> )=| 09:17, 4 March 2009 (UTC)
Well, I understand. Certainly it isn't proper to check joking or nonsense accounts only for the reason "it's nonsense". If they do vandal edits, I may request again (but preferably I hope not to). Thank you for your work. --Ninomy 09:51, 4 March 2009 (UTC)
I checked the account with the personal attack (エッタラッコアボーン),

Baradaran.f@fa.wikipedia

Most probably a sockpuppet of fa:User:Foolad 2. Foolad 2 is blocked for 1 month. Raamin 00:38, 4 March 2009 (UTC)

Could you please provide the reason why you believe Foolad 2 and Baradaran.f are the same user?  — Mike.lifeguard | @en.wb 00:49, 4 March 2009 (UTC)
Editing (reverting to Foolad 2's edit) 20 minutes after blocking of Foolad 2. Same behaviour. Raamin 00:59, 4 March 2009 (UTC)
  •   Confirmed - Baradaran.f = Foolad 2
  •   Likely - Foolad 2 = Azizoo =علیرضا چوبداری

Please give more or less weight to my conclusions as you see fit after examining their behaviour - I cannot read Persian, so I cannot make sophisticated analyses on that.  — Mike.lifeguard | @en.wb 02:38, 4 March 2009 (UTC)

  •   Likely - Baboo99, Duman.deniz, Sanchooli, Mehfaraz2003, Pride1383, Asdfghjklpoiuytrewq1, Aminizahan, Allah.shahbeygi7, خان محمد, سنچولی, Valipoura

I've changed the certainty on these. Upon examination of the nature of the ISP, it seems all these users are probably related. Again, you should take a look at behaviour (& note that not all these users have edited yet).  — Mike.lifeguard | @en.wb 15:52, 4 March 2009 (UTC)

wikt:ja:User:レグノワール

The following discussion is closed.

Please check wikt:ja:User:レグノワール, disrupting user. He may be EMPIS. This user requested recall of the most active sysop. Plus, he started some other discussions about sysop recall and harasses that sysop and community. EMPIS was banned because of such discussion, making sockpuppets and community confusion. --Ninomy 05:22, 11 March 2009 (UTC)

Done. Result:   Confirmed. Comparing to earlier requests, this user is EMPIS. --Thogo (talk) 11:58, 11 March 2009 (UTC)
Thanks for your works, Thogo. Really helpful. e-Goat 13:25, 11 March 2009 (UTC)

Please check wikt:ja:User:TYSCGFAN. w:ja:User:TYSCGFAN was banned because this is a sockpuppet of w:ja:User:Yukarin, a notorious and indef-blocked user. Plus, this username is very confusing because there is a user w:User:TYSGCFAN. "TYSCGFAN" is not unified, but I think this account is a sockpuppet of some other banned user (maybe EMPIS or Yukarin; EMPIS has created some accounts its name is confusing or very same as sound users). --Ninomy 16:29, 11 March 2009 (UTC)

I am a member of wiki.pt's ArbCom. We are dealing with an accusation of checkuser abuse. In order to avoid COI, we prefer to place this request to stewards rather than to order to our local checkusers. We would like all available checkuser logs on wiki.pt related to the users pt:user:Pediboi and pt:user:Observatore to be sent to our mailing list (ca-ptwikipedia@lists.wikimedia.org). We don't need the results, just the logs. Thank you, Lechatjaune 21:01, 21 March 2009 (UTC)

Hi there, we won't send the log to that list, this is private data, --birdy geimfyglið (:> )=| 22:09, 21 March 2009 (UTC)
The list is closed and all ArbCom members are identified on meta in order to have access to private data. If you can't send the information to that list, where may we have it? Lechatjaune 22:52, 21 March 2009 (UTC)
My initial reaction is to say "Sorry, we do not release private information to just anyone, even if they happen to have identified to the Foundation." However, upon re-reading the CheckUser policy, I noted two points:
I would suggest that perhaps sanitized logs could come from stewards (since we do not release private information to just anyone, even if they happen to be identified to the Foundation). However, I would be more comfortable if the Ombudsman commission investigated, which is clearly sanctioned on CheckUser policy (but not on Ombudsman commission, where their scope is described as restricted to violations of the privacy [not checkuser] policy). I will request input from other stewards and checkusers on this point on their respective mailing lists.  — Mike.lifeguard | @en.wb 17:19, 23 March 2009 (UTC)
All arbcom members on wiki.pt have to be identified on meta to deal with private information. Our list is closed and only effective members of ArbCom may read the content. If you prefer sending the information to one of the members instead of sending to the list, please feel free. Lechatjaune 20:37, 23 March 2009 (UTC)

  Sent the appropriate info to the mailing list.  — Mike.lifeguard | @en.wb 00:59, 26 March 2009 (UTC)

Please check uk:User:Скуберт because of very strange contributions for a newbie: it took him only 20 minutes after registration to find and thank for photo by uk:User:Anatoliy-024. In the next 5 minutes he sent welcomes to new users (only 1 day after I told uk:User:Anatoliy-024 how to welcome new users). Then he began to vote for keeping articles created by uk:User:Anatoliy-024 thanking him for his article and deleting articles nominated by uk:User:Anatoliy-024 and also made a number of edits on discussion pages with the same arguments as uk:User:Anatoliy-024. After I removed votes by uk:User:Скуберт as he had no useful contributions uk:User:Anatoliy-024 reverted this. uk:User:Скуберт also states that he wants to help newbies and his major contributions will be on talk pages. So I suppose that uk:User:Скуберт is someone's double account for votes, most likely belonging to uk:User:Anatoliy-024 (who was previosly active every day between 12.00-13.00, now there are only edits by Скуберт with the same arguments and the same interests at this time) or belonging to uk:User:Leader171/uk:User:L.9 who previosly had some accounts with dozens of edits on talk pages only. Please check uk:User:Гаврило because he is very interested in voting 717 edits in Wikipedia namespace, mostly votes, while only 650 edits in articles. Sometimes he mostly votes for quite a long period of time (for example, his last contibution). Most his votes does not have argumentation, and from my point of view his votes sometimes tend to contradict votes that have argumentation. Also his last votes in most cases where same as of user uk:User:Anatoliy-024, and where made shortly after votes by uk:User:Anatoliy-024. Sometimes the only talks of these two users on deletion pages are with each other. Also previous check of user Скуберт showed that likely Anatoliy-024 is the same as Скуберт. --Ilya K, Admin of uk-wiki 18:58, 30 March 2009 (UTC)
