Global unblock for Humaliwalay

Status:    Not done

Hello there, I am blocked form editing articles even my own talk page because I am blocked for no Reason, the only reason provided is I am a prt of global blocked users. Please help. - Humaliwalay 09:31, 1 November 2010 (UTC)

Without the IP, we can't perform an unblock, as global blocks are assigned to IP addresses and ranges only, not users. Kylu 17:03, 1 November 2010 (UTC)

I don't use Open Proxy!, please tell me when I have used this? I'm using the internet line from the ISP! I can't even create a page on the English version in order to talk!!! appreciate your cooperation and fast response
Please, I don't know why I has been blocked again!
I'M NOT USING ANY OPEN PROXIES!!!
Please help. — The preceding unsigned comment was added by Muslim-guy (talk) 4 November 2010 08:16

As global blocks only affect IP addresses, you're not blocked, the IP you're using is. The only way we can unblocked the IP address, however, is if we know what that IP address is. You'll have to provide it, as there's no exception in the checkuser policy to allow us to pull IPs for that purpose. Kylu 13:43, 5 November 2010 (UTC)

Global block for 210.136.3.18 and 221.186.143.131

Status:    Done

Two IP-adresses of a crosswiki vandal; the second one is recently used to create accounts. I'm not yet finished, but I have already found 43 accounts by using checkusers on fr.wikipedia, en.wikipedia and nl.wikipedia. I still need more, but before that it would be handy to globally block the IP-adresses as this user (originally from Japan) is creating a lot accounts and vandalizes on lots of Wikipedias. For more information, read nl:Overleg gebruiker:Piet van der Wal/blockmsg (not yet translated in English, but with the long list of accounts). Thanks in advance. Global block for 194.237.76.11 and 194.237.76.12

Ip-adresses belonging to a Swedish city that is blocked on Swedish Wikipedia until 19 April 2011. Have started to trash other languages. Global block until 19 April 2011 -- Tegel 22:14, 3 December 2010 (UTC)

Done both looks like open proxies --Jyothis 00:52, 4 December 2010 (UTC)

They're not open proxies. It's a proxy server used by a city connecting their internal network to Internet. All the schools are on the internal network. But the important thing is that they got blocked. Thank you. -- Tegel 00:59, 4 December 2010 (UTC)

Global lock for spam-accounts plus checkuser

Status:    Done

These users have all spammed the -now globally blacklisted[1]- link *.topholidaydestinations.net crosswiki. This is a very widespread spamming campaign. It took me several hours to remove all the links (at least 256 were placed, countless removed by me, in the last hour alone I visited 29 projects to remove this spam), for a listing see User:COIBot/XWiki/topholidaydestinations.net. All these users have the same general modus operandi; in some cases they remove all other external links and in all cases put in their own link, often marking it as a minor edit. The links are all inserted in the external links section and only a few as reference. The usernames give the impression of being a bot, but they are probably human, seeing the time between edits and the style of the edits. Each user made only a few edits per project and then moved to another project.

I have checked the edits of the users below and found that they are pure spam-accounts. I have not found anything that would even remotely be a sign of good faith. I request global locking of these accounts and a global checkuser[2] to see if there are more bad-faith users.

--EdBever 08:57, 22 December 2010 (UTC)

One more: Milgrujic. This user spammed travelsitesonline.net until it was globally blacklisted. The users above then continued with topholidaydestinations.net. EdBever 09:29, 23 December 2010 (UTC)

All that has SUL has been locked by Dferg and myself. there are some that are local accounts. --03:34, 26 December 2010 (UTC)

Global lock for user:211.78.37.17 and user:Ldh0854

Status:    Done

This is Open Proxy and make Vandalism in Korean wikiproject, during 3days.(wikipedia, wikisource...) And Ldh0854 is my impersonation account. Global lock, please. And can you delete Vandalism contribution of korean wikisource, some weeks?(Because, administrator of Korean wikisource isn't animated contribution.) Thank you. --Idh0854 05:06, 10 December 2010 (UTC)

Local admin Salamander03 took care of blocking the users and deleting the page they created. The Ldh0854 account has only edited ko.wikisource, but it probably still makes sense to lock it since it's an SUL-enabled impersonation account. Jafeluv 05:40, 10 December 2010 (UTC)
Yes, I see. after write this page. :) However, still, korean wikisource is need to assistance of Meta because of potential again Open proxy Vandalism.(contribution(기여) period of admin is long. So vandalsim like this will happen sometimes with in korean wikipedia.) Thank you. --Idh0854 06:14, 10 December 2010 (UTC)
Look at the korean wikisource, now. This is Vandalism and unwearying practical joke of open proxy. This IP hurled abuses at me. Doing this back work all day is going to drive me crazy. Please, help korean wikisource. --Idh0854 15:47, 10 December 2010 (UTC)
I'm really sorry, but I can't read Korean and Google Translate is useless for that language. But I made a section at speedy deletions for you, so that someone with at least some clue of the language can have a look at it. Jafeluv 23:48, 10 December 2010 (UTC)
Thank you, thank you so much. Proxy IP is, using the korean wikipedia data, make practical joke data in korean source. So if you look carefully you can just see wrong of data in korean source. Thank you. --Idh0854 00:48, 11 December 2010 (UTC)
The Username has been globally locked by Dferg, the ip has been locally blocked by Salamander03. Because upto now there is no sign of taking this issue to other wikis, I don't think global blocking of the ip is necessary. - Andre Engels 21:24, 23 December 2010 (UTC)
