I want to usurp the following account:

The account hasn't edited since 2005. The wiki has no active bureaucrats (last edit Sept 09, last log action Nov 07). I am the current global account holder of 'Daniel'. Daniel (talk) 13:43, 7 April 2010 (UTC)

Have you tried contacting the user? That user seems to be the same as gl:User:Daniel, who has email enabled. --FiliP ██ 10:41, 15 April 2010 (UTC)

It is very difficult to contact the user when I cannot create an account at either of the wikis, given my SUL name is taken (I will not create dummy accounts that will be abandoned simply to email people). I want to usurp the following account

SKbot is my bot's SUL account ownered by Sergey kudryavtsev (also SUL). I try login as SKbot at Latin Wikitionary, but have wrong password message. This may be a software bug, as there are "Account created automatically" in log, but all other SKbots ownered by me (see here). As I do not find any dedicated page for rename requests there I'd suggest that you contact him on his talk page (or village pump) and ask him/her to fullfil your request using Special:RenameUser. While untangling a rather substantial mess of Wikimedia logins, a English Wikipedia admin wrote, "A request could be filed on meta to lock User:MikeHarris so that you don't accidentally use it again, but you would want your accounts renamed first." (Spanish) - Pasqual, ello se debe a que la cuenta que se usurpó tenía SUL antes, pero al renombrarla el SUL no desaparece así que hay que borrar la cuenta global para luego recrearla automáticamente. Borrar la cuenta global sólo hace que desaparezca la SUL, no la cuenta física así que no habrá problemas -de hecho es la única forma de solucionarlo- Espero poder hacerlo mañana por la mañana si no te importa esperar unas horas.
