  Not done As said above, we're unable to do this. System administrators, however, are able to transfer edits from your old account to your new one, not sure if they'll agree to process with this. @Krett12:   Not done You are indeed currently blocked on en.wikipedia. Per en:Wikipedia:Courtesy vanishing, "Courtesy vanishing is discretionary and may be refused". I consider being blocked as a reason to force you to stay under your current username, and pursuant to the policy page, I use my discretion, and reject your request, unless you convince me (or another global renamer) to approve it. @Martin Urbanec: alright that makes sense but please do keep in mind that en.wikipedia is not the only place in which i used this account and please don't use it as the sole decider to whether or not i should be allowed to rename(i.e. this account was created using the MediaWiki wiki, and it edits on simple.wikipedia almost twice as much as english). i would like to request that you reconsider as this name also applies to several other wmf projects (more so than english, so you know i'm not just making up reasons), and also that, although this may be harder to change your mind on, a 3-year-old block fully locking this account forever. @1997kB: The block on frwiki is actually a lot more than a simple block. This account is a sockpuppet of a user who has been banned (see fr:Wikipédia:Faux-nez/Honorable Correspondant). I therefore strongly oppose any renaming. Litlok (talk) 15:40, 10 July 2019 (UTC)

@1997kB, Litlok, and Céréales Killer: The block on frwiki of my account is very interesting accident. My account is not a puppet, and my main Wiki is on the Turkish Wikipedia. Look at this: [1]. I don't understand why my account was blocked as a puppet on the French Wikipedia. I contacted a frwiki admin on Commons (because of my block on frwiki), but I didn't get an answer. @Superyetkin: bu konuda bana yardımcı olur musun? That is deeply unfair. I was called Alienboy before this italian one and it was Wikipedia that changed my name automatically without even informing me, so it is the italian one that needs renaming. That Italian one had most edits so they were selected owner of global account. Reopen. I have reopened this request, as I would like further discussion on the matter. The closer (Martin Urbanec) specifically wrote "more experienced global renamers should feel free to override me" in his edit summary.

The Global rename policy is oddly vague about usurpation: There will be some requirement for usurpation of local-only accounts, and possibly global accounts, without mentioning what these requirements are, only stating that decisions currently are dealt with by stewards on a case by case basis. Looking through all rename requests this year, I find several cases [1] [2] [3] [4] [5] [6] [7] (up to 6 edits) where a usurpation were granted, despite the usurped user have made edits, that are still live as of this day. This list is longer [8] [9] if we include talk page edits and good-faiths edits that are not live anymore. On the other hand, there were cases [10] [11] [12] [13] [14] where usurpation were denied, but none of them had fewer than 10 edits, much more than in my case. In one of them [11] there were even a discussion of the usurpation rules, with 1997kB saying I think 15 edits isn't big deal, also target last edited in 2006, so there's very little chance they'll be back, but another user (Stanglavine) disagreed.

Since there really is no concrete policy about usurpation, I find it fair that my case are treated in the same way as similar cases. Heb the best (talk) 14:52, 19 August 2019 (UTC)

Also note that the single edit by Hebs on 8 February 2007 were undone by an IP user on 26 November 2007. It was later, on 17 December 2007, redone by another IP user, and then undone again on 7 April 2008 by a third IP user. So in the end, the edit is not even live and has not been for over 10 years. Yes, I would have taken that name, if it wasn't already taken. I thought that user retired two years ago, based on the dawiki contributions, so thought the resemblance wasn't a problem.
