@Fohfuu This place is only for name change requests, but I will try to explain what happened.

When you create an account, you are automatically created an account on several other sites. On these sites, if you don't make edits on these sites, you won't have to communicate with them either.

Regarding the "Welcome" message you received - you probably received it by a bot, which put the message in all the accounts that are created, also automatically.

To your question - these administrators are not shown anything that you do not post publicly. They can see the username and number of edits, but nothing more. @Superpes15: If it is not in use, it isn't naturally that way, it indeed was in use before the request here. There was an intervention, including a deletion nomination on commons for which I'm strongly oppose.
Anyway, I originally thought that the name change could be made even though both photo-variations were used. And, I still think so, despite the quite unacceptable behavior of the requester that we are seeing (because luckily for us no potential damage escaped our attention or was actually caused).

@מקף: Yep, I was talking generally, in this case imho "Nemoralis" is usurpable (I agree with you when you say "even though both photo-variations were used") but, if there are some issues with the requester, we should look into them better before proceeding! Can I ask what you are referring to when you say they have "a quite unacceptable behavior"? The problem is the replacement of the use of the image with the other (which I don't know if you did, I didn't check; someone did it, this is the general "intervention"), and the opening of the discussion there without proper disclosure about the name change request ("unacceptable behavior"). So, beyond referring to the actual opening of the deletion nomination (which may be accepted with the assumption of good intentions), I mainly refer to the lack of proper disclosure there which in my opinion, I must say, couldn't be acceptable on Commons, while considering the circumstances in which it is requested to receive the username of the creator of the image; It may not necessarily have been intentional, but not normal.
Again ,I emphasize, I still think that it can be limited now to the scope of Commons and that preventing the potential damage to the usurped user allows us here on Meta to accept the usurp req, so it is possible anyway. @Superpes15. · ^מקף Hyphen _෴ · 11:08, 13 September 2023 (UTC)
