Due to our policy, I hereby request removal of sysop access due to inactivity in the main namespace longer than one year. This page is for requests to have stewards grant or revoke administrator, bureaucrat, checkuser, and oversight rights on Wikimedia projects which do not have a local permissions procedure.

Old sections are archived. The list of archives is below.

 • Requests for bot flags are handled at SRB, and requests for global permissions are handled at SRGP.
 • If you are requesting adminship or bureaucratship, and your wiki has a local bureaucrat, submit your request to that user or to the relevant local request page (index).
 • For urgent requests, such as to combat large-scale vandalism on a small wiki, contact a steward in the #wikimedia-stewardsconnect IRC channel. In emergencies, type !steward in the channel to get the attention of stewards. Otherwise, you can type @steward for non-urgent help.

Other than requests to remove your own access or emergencies, please only make requests here after gaining the on-wiki approval of your local community.

Using this page

1. Place the following code at the bottom of the appropriate section below:

Username@xxproject
(your remarks) ~~~~

2. Fill in the values:

 • domain: the wiki's URL domain (like "ex.wikipedia" or "meta.wikimedia").
 • user name: the name of the user whose rights are to be changed (like "Exampleuser"). In case you're requesting access for multiple bots, leave this field blank and give a list of these bots in your remarks
 • discussion: a link to the local vote or discussion about the rights change (for example, "ex:Wikipedia:Requests_for_adminship#ExampleUser"). This should normally be for at least one week, but no more than three weeks (if so, you'll need to restart the process).

3. If anything is missing from your request, a steward will request more information.

Confirmation of signing confidentiality agreement

Certain permissions (notably CheckUser and Oversight) additionally require users to sign a confidentiality agreement. Users requesting these permissions must make a request below, and must also sign the confidentiality agreement with the Wikimedia Foundation. The request is placed on hold temporarily, until the receipt has been formally confirmed by the Office.

I'm always walking around in the Encyclopedia if I find a good thing i move to our local language, this is why i put titleblacklist bad names Such as who calls himself the names of the tribes.

I followed the basic rules such be bold, I have so many contributions in different, I translated so.wiki, and i have a lot of improvements such template so.Main Page, so far I do not understand why my request was delayed so long.

Ajraddatz (talk) 04:33, 8 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Adville@sv.wikiversity

I have a temporary adminship on sv.wikiversity after writing on the village pump (two following headlines) and starting an admin vote with two positive and zero negative. (I am also an admin on svwp and a board member of Wikimedia Sverige, my user page there. I think sv.wikiversity needs to get permanent Swedish speaking admins to make it easier for the developement of Wikiversity. I have under my short adminship helped to move pages by requests from users because they knew I could and they needed urgent help. I am well known in the sv-comunity so they know how to reach me. Adville (talk) 20:57, 7 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

With only two votes, I am not willing to grant permentant adminship. However, if you start another vote for a week, I can extend your current admin rights for another 6 months. Regards, Ajraddatz (talk) 21:35, 7 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]
I have now put up a new vote sesion here. I will also promote it so users will se it.
I also want to change my request. When I wrote permanent I was thinking like on svwp, that means one year and then a new vote. So my new request is only for a year. Adville (talk) 21:31, 9 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Gobbler@el.wikivoyage

I am asking for temp adminship. I need to manage pages (rename, delete, protect from editing) and change wiki interface for a better site maintenance. I made my local announcement on 2014-04-30 and got three supports. Since our community is very small, I couldn't have a better luck. --Gobbler (talk) 23:04, 7 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Done Granted for 4 months to expire on 2014-09-07. To prolong your (interface) adminship, please start another election a few days before your temporary access expires, and after a week post your request again to this page. Thanks. Ajraddatz (talk) 23:07, 7 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Nahum@hewikisource

Hi! I, he:s:user:Nahum, request CheckUser access as per local vote. Thanks! The preceding unsigned comment was added by Nahum (talk • contribs) 23:22, 1 May 2014‎ (UTC)

Already identified. LlamaAl (talk) 05:14, 2 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Not done, per the CheckUser policy, which requires at least 25 support votes. I only see 11 votes, including your own vote. "If an insufficient number of voters vote for at least two CheckUsers on a wiki, there will be no CheckUsers on that wiki". Please read and understand the CheckUser policy. Savhñ 06:59, 2 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry, the relevant policy on our wiki states 10 votes are enough for Checkuser. Did that change? Nahum (talk) 00:35, 6 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]
As far as checkuser is concerned stewards apply only the global policy. Ruslik (talk) 05:40, 6 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]
+ a project has at least two checkusers or none at all. You may add your CU requests here; stewards will take care of those. Trijnsteltalk 15:14, 8 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]
@Nahum: local wikis policies can only be more restrictive/stronger than global policies, not less restrictive or weaker.  — billinghurst sDrewth 06:58, 10 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Removal of access

<translate>

 • If you're requesting the removal of your own permissions, make sure you're logged in to your account. If you have multiple flags, specify which you want removed. Stewards may delay your request a short time to ensure you have time to rethink your request (see previous discussion on 24 hour delays); the rights will not be restored by stewards once they are removed.
 • To request the removal of another user's permissions, you must gain consensus on the local wiki first. When there is community consensus that the user's access should be removed, provide a link to the discussion, with a brief explanation of the reason for the request, and summarize the results of discussion. However, as bureaucrats of some wikis may remove users from the administrator or bureaucrat group, please see also a separate list of these specific wikis.
 • To request the removal of another user's permissions for inactivity, link to your local inactivity policy. If your site does not have inactivity policy, the global policy Admin activity review applies.
 • See the instructions above for adding new requests. Please post new requests at the bottom of the section.</translate>

Elph@ar.wikipedia

Kindly remove all the sysop, bureaucrat and check user rights from Elph immediately. His account and e-mail address have been hacked and he asked me to submit this request here. Thank you! -- Samir El-Sharbaty (talk to me) 16:09, 28 April 2014 (UTC) [reply]

Done by Mentifisto. @Samir: please let us know when it's resolved so we can reinstate the rights. Trijnsteltalk 16:46, 28 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Sure! -- Samir El-Sharbaty (talk to me) 16:57, 28 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]
According to what Elph told me on Facebook, his account and email address were compromised. I adviced him to contact a Wikimedia system administrator on IRC to reset his account. For reference his Facebook account can be found here. --Meno25 (talk) 15:17, 29 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]
I've put this on hold, so that this request will stay on this page. Trijnsteltalk 12:18, 2 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Elph as had their rights returned now that they have regained control of their account. Ajraddatz (talk) 17:20, 6 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Ejdzej@pl.wikipedia

Please remove my sysop flag from Polish Wikipedia project. I haven't been using my admin buttons for a long time and it's not very likely I resume my activity soon. Eky@zh.wikipedia

Eky is inactive for more than 7 months, its sysop access should be removed per our local policy, as a local crat I'm here to put forward the desysop request, thanks--Kegns 09:07, 7 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Will you please notify the user in their talk and thank them for their valued service on zhwiki? Thanks a lot! --M/ (talk) 13:50, 7 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]
@M7:In fact,Per our local policy, we have noticed him after the previous 6 months, and he's still inactive for the next month. So I just said "7 months".--Kegns 14:54, 7 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]
I see the notification from 4 April 2014. As such, I've removed their sysop flag. Thanks for their service. Ajraddatz (talk) 15:15, 7 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Done. Thank you for your work as an admin. Savhñ 15:29, 8 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Leinad@pl.wikipedia

Leinad has made no bureaucrat actions in the last year. His bureaucrat access should be removed per our local policy. Thanks, Mateusz.ns (talk) 17:03, 7 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

The policy, as I understand it (obviously I don't speak Polish so if there's a misunderstanding there do let me know), also makes it quite clear that the request for removal has to come from an active bureaucrat. I suggest you bring the matter to their attention. I will mark this request as not done but obviously a local 'crat can reopen this if they wish to submit such a request. Kind regards, Snowolf How can I help? 15:26, 8 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]
It should be a bureaucrat but according to this discussion it is not necessary. 83.10.49.144 15:31, 8 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]
If that is the case the policy should be updated, but I would personally think it much easier to just have a 'crat poke us. Snowolf How can I help? 15:45, 8 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]
If I know "should" does not mean "have to". And the bureaucrat is not a superior of other users, is not it? 83.10.49.144 15:56, 8 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]
As long as plwiki policy requires a 'crat to file the request, we cannot and will not carry it out unless a 'crat requests it. We do not have the power to ignore policies. Kind regards, Snowolf How can I help? 15:59, 8 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for your reply. I think that bureaucrats will do something. 83.10.49.144 16:14, 8 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

pitak@pl.wikipedia

Please, remove my sysop rights on pl.wikipedia. I can no longer be as active as I used to be, so it's unfair to keep admin status - it should be someone who can help and answer at any time. I havent't been using sysop tools recently and I realised that they aren't necessary for me. I think that in case of emergency I just could ask another admin for help ;). Thanks for everything, - --Pitak (talk) 19:04, 8 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

On hold for 24 hours per standard practice. This request will be automatically carried out by a steward tomorrow, but until it is done you are free to withdraw it or ask for an additional delay. Thank you for your work on Wikimedia projects, Snowolf How can I help? 19:07, 8 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Removed. Thanks for your service, Pitak. Ajraddatz (talk) 21:45, 9 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Danny B.@cswikiversity

I was asked by a local community member to copy over this request by the local community to remove Danny B.'s sysop access. Looking at v:cs:Special:ActiveUsers, you can see that 100% of the currently active community members (counting users with 1 edit/day during the last 30 days as active, except Danny B. himself) expressed their mistrust in Danny B. and therefore I personally believe this request is reasonable though three users mainly involved in other communites opposed this request. Vogone (talk) 21:47, 9 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Should the bureaucrat access be removed as well? In addition, is Danny B. going to make any comment here? Ruslik (talk) 03:28, 10 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]
For me bureaucrat is an administrator trusted by the majority of the active community. So while Danny B. doesnt have such support I would say its logic to remove also crat acess.--Juandev (talk) 06:31, 10 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]
With the animosity surrounding Juandev and Danny B, I think that Juandev should be unheard in this issue, and he should really learn to be quiet.  — billinghurst sDrewth 06:40, 10 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

There is no community consensus for removing Danny B's sysop flag. Founder (Krvesaj) of voting specified "five votes for removing" as necessary requierement for removing sysop flag; voting was closed by him on 30th April with negative result (only 3 votes for removing). 30 edits during last 30 days, presented by Juandev, was never specified as requirement for participation in voting. Juandev's request is rough misinterpretation of voting result, it is his "solo action" and should be rejected here. --Milda (talk) 09:48, 10 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Ymar@pl.wikipedia
