Wikimedia User Group China: Difference between revisions

Wikimedia Community User Group in China, or Wikimedia China is a planned Wikimedia User Group for promoting development of Wikimedia Movement in China.

In 2009, Chinese Wikipedia attempted to set up a local chapter, with many discussion on various topics, and sent a letter to Chinese Authority by Jimmy Wales, but the response is negative. In 2013 Wikimania, 20 Chinese Wikipedian include some members of Taiwan Chapter, we decide to put the user group on the agenda.
