==Haven't forgotten==
This is just to let you know that I am indeed working on some things for the Maori Wikipedia - I haven't forgotten. However, my attempt to make a map of the various iwi is proving more difficult than I thought, since I keep getting conflicting information from different maps. Also, there seems to be debate about exactly which groups qualify as an iwi. Do you have any suggestions as to what the most "authoritative" source might be? I've had to re-do the map several times, based on conflicting data, and I still haven't got anything looking reasonable. -- [[User:Vardion|Vardion]] 10:08, 29 Oct 2004 (UTC)

Haere mai; tena koe.

Don't be afraid to be the first person to talk to me here!

I made you a sysop and bureaucrat which means that you can block vandals, delete pages, protect pages, and edit protected pages. You can also create new sysops. Perl 23:03, 15 Apr 2004 (UTC)

Confidence is appreciated; now one must reread the pages about those functions. - Robin (still not signed in for today; staying half-anonymous has the advantage that there seem, to an outsider, to be more contributors than there really are!)

Bonjour ou bonsoir,

Received the email, I am there to sporadically contribute with interwikis or something.

Hi Robin, sorry to see you are being trolled on the Korero. Don't let it put you off. I've left a message at MediaWiki talk:Linktrail that hopefully you can deal with. I see you passed 100 hundred articles last month, so congratulations on your first milestone! Angela 13:32, 1 Oct 2004 (UTC)

(Robin said: "Maori Wikipedia has lost its "Community Portal" page sidebar link for some skins ...") Eeek. It's not there in the other skins. I don't know whether to report it as a bug. It's not a huge issue on Wikipedia - it just means you don't have a link to the community portal but on wikis such as the Foundation wiki or Wikia, where we've used the MediaWiki namespace to customise the sidebar, it causes much bigger problems. And I hadn't noticed those problems until you pointed it out. I don't know what the solution is to this right now, but I will let you know if I find a fix for it. Angela 02:22, 7 Oct 2004 (UTC)

Please delete this. I'd rather not have pictures of me on wikis I do not regularly watch for vandalism. I'm also not likely to remember it's here should I want to update the picture or remove my photo from Wikipedia. Thanks. Angela 13:36, 16 Oct 2004 (UTC)

Haven't forgotten

This is just to let you know that I am indeed working on some things for the Maori Wikipedia - I haven't forgotten. However, my attempt to make a map of the various iwi is proving more difficult than I thought, since I keep getting conflicting information from different maps. Also, there seems to be debate about exactly which groups qualify as an iwi. Do you have any suggestions as to what the most "authoritative" source might be? I've had to re-do the map several times, based on conflicting data, and I still haven't got anything looking reasonable. -- Vardion 10:08, 29 Oct 2004 (UTC)
