Responsibilities
Process payables requests in line with the policy
Monitor and reconcile vendor accounts and align with internal stakeholders and vendors on missing records and discrepancies
Act as a liaison between vendors and internal stakeholders on cost control problems and infractions of contract
Perform periodical tasks relating to the function (reconciliation, reporting, and review)
Assist with the coordination of Internal Audit
Maintain Internal Control documentation in the best order
Review applicable procedures and suggest enhancements and improvements
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in accounting
5 years recent experience in accounts payable with accounting background
Strong understanding of the payables process
Strong organizational, analytical and reporting skills
Detail oriented
Proficient in Microsoft Office
