It has been 20 years since Emmy-nominated star Jennifer Garner won audiences' hearts as Jenna Rink in the fantasy romance comedy 13 Going on 30.
Also starring Academy Award nominee and Emmy and Golden Globe winner Mark Ruffalo, Halloween's (2018) Judy Greer and more, 13 Going on 30 struck a nostalgic chord for '80s kids as Garner's Jenna finds herself in 2004 as a 30-year-old, when just the day before she was 13 growing up in 1987.
Since its premiere, many of the movie's cast members have continued to lead notably successful careers. They have also remained close friends since filming together, namely Garner and Greer.

Jennifer Garner as Jenna Rink
Jennifer Garner plays the "big-time magazine editor" and totally nails the whole "30, flirty and thriving" thing.
Since dancing the "Thriller" straight into our hearts, Garner has starred in plenty of films like Peppermint, Dallas Buyers Club, Juno, Love, Simon, Yes Day and The Adam Project, where she reunited with Ruffalo.
"It was wonderful," Garner told Good Morning America of working with Ruffalo again. "We were playing a married couple and we just had this instant comfort and obviously there's just such a connection and a warmth. It was actually a really beautiful experience to revisit that relationship."
Additionally, Garner sweetly voiced Mama Llama for the animated kids' series Llama Llama and is the most relatable mom on Instagram.
The Alias star will be reprising her role of Elektra in the 2024 movie Deadpool & Wolverine opposite Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman. Garner first portrayed the comic book character in 2003's Daredevil (starring Ben Affleck and Colin Farrell) and again in 2005's Elektra.
On top of acting, the mom of three founded Once Upon a Farm, a company that creates organic baby food.
Mark Ruffalo as Matt Flamhaff
Mark Ruffalo plays Matt, Jenna's high school best friend–turned–love interest.
"It was like we picked up where we left off," the actor told PEOPLE (The TV Show!) about reuniting with Garner on The Adam Project, adding that working with his former costar again was nothing short of "amazing."
Since 13 Going on 30, Ruffalo has stepped into the (very big) shoes of the Hulk (a.k.a. Bruce Banner) in the Avengers franchise, and has been nominated for four Oscars for his roles in The Kids Are All Right, Spotlight, Foxcatcher and Poor Things.
The father of three pulled double duty playing twins in the HBO miniseries I Know This Much Is True. Ruffalo later worked with Peaky Blinders creator and Academy Award-nominated filmmaker Steven Knight on the Netflix miniseries All the Light We Cannot See.
Ruffalo will star alongside Robert Pattinson and Emmy and Golden Globe winners Steven Yeun and Toni Collette in three-time Oscar-winning filmmaker Bong Joon Ho's 2025 sci-fi drama Mickey 17.
Judy Greer as Lucy Wyman
Judy Greer plays the double-crossing Lucy Wyman who is totally not a good friend to Jenna.
The actress and stepmother of two has been busy since 2004, having voiced characters on shows like Family Guy, Archer and American Dad as well as appearing on series including Californication, Arrested Development and Two and a Half Men.
Like many of her 13 Going on 30 costars, Greer also joined the Marvel Cinematic Universe when she played Paul Rudd's character's ex-wife in the first two Ant-Man films.
Additionally, horror fans were delighted to see Greer star alongside Jamie Lee Curtis in David Gordon Green's Halloween and Halloween Kills.
Andy Serkis as Richard Kneeland
BAFTA Award winner Andy Serkis plays Jenna's boss at Poise who is constantly trying to figure out how to get ahead of Sparkle magazine.
Since the movie's release in 2004, the father of three has been busy acting in franchises like The Lord of the Rings, Star Wars and the contemporary Planet of the Apes film series.
Serkis also joined the Marvel universe when he played the villainous Ulysses Klaue in Black Panther. In 2021, he played Alfred Pennyworth alongside Pattinson in Matt Reeves' Oscar-nominated movie The Batman and will reprise his role in the 2026 sequel.
Ashley Benson & Brie Larson as members of the Six Chicks
Brie Larson and Ashley Benson both play members of the Six Chicks, the popular clique at school Jenna wants so badly to be part of.
Following 13 Going on 30, Benson portrayed Abby Deveraux on the hit soap opera Days of Our Lives before starring in the crime drama thriller movie Spring Breakers alongside Vanessa Hudgens and Selena Gomez.
Benson later starred as Hanna Marin in the popular long-running series Pretty Little Liars, earning four Teen Choice Awards.
Larson went on to win an Oscar for her work in Room and played Captain Marvel in Avengers: Endgame, Captain Marvel and The Marvels.
Other notable film and TV projects of Larson's include Scott Pilgrim vs. the World, United States of Tara, Kong: Skull Island, The Glass Castle, Just Mercy, Fast X and Lessons in Chemistry.
Christa B. Allen as Young Jenna
Christa B. Allen played the younger version of Garner's character the sweet, bra-stuffing, desperate-to-be-popular teen — in her first-ever acting role.
It wasn't the last time Allen would play a younger version of Garner; she did it again in the 2009 movie Ghosts of Girlfriends Past.
In the years since she has continued to act both on television in shows like Revenge and Baby Daddy and in TV movies.
