Tori Spelling is sharing the process of getting dental veneers after admitting that she was self-conscious of her smile.

The Beverly Hills, 90210 alum visited cosmetic dentist Dr. Kevin Sands — whom she said has been her best friend since they were 15 — and revealed the process of “getting a new smile” on Instagram. She'd previously hosted Sands on her podcast, misSPELLING, where they discussed her "disgusting" natural teeth.

“I look back at 90210 and I smiled so big in every scene,” Spelling, 51, tells Sands while sitting in his examination room.

“You had the best looking teeth,” Sands — who gave singer JoJo Siwa her veneers — replies.

“I did,” says Spelling, who was 17 when she landed the role of Donna Martin on the hit show.

Sands explains the process of getting veneers to Spelling, saying, “Today we’re going to take a thin layer off the top of your tooth.”

As the Cleveland Clinic explains, veneers “are custom-made shells that fit over the front surfaces of your teeth.”

Unlike crowns, which covers the entire tooth, veneers are applied to only the front of the tooth.

Showing her a close-up of her smile, Sands points out that he wants to “lengthen your teeth a little bit.”

“It looks like your teeth are disappearing on the sides,” he points out, adding that he’s going to fix that as well.

“My smile used to be, like, my thing when I was young. And then when I got older, I just never paid attention to my teeth,” Spelling explained.

Sands tells Spelling he wants the color of the veneers to go “as white as we can without it looking artificial,” as the actress explains that she has grown self-conscious of her smile.

“When I talk to people, I’ll put my hand up and stuff,” Spelling says, covering her mouth.

“It’s really zapped my confidence.”

However, she says she’s “super-excited because Kevin is going to give me a whole new smile.”

The actress shared a video of the prep work, where Sands gets her teeth ready for the application of the veneers — and said that while wearing temporary veneers, “my whole confidence, these last two weeks, has been elevated.”

The video ends with Sands showing Spelling her custom-made veneers, which he applies in the final scene.

And as Spelling explains, “I’m smiling again, and I just feel so much better.”
