• Logging into AWB using 2FA account

What happens?:

Failed to login into AWB, pop up message "Failed"

What should have happened instead?:

Would expect some guidance on what may have failed, at least something more informative if it is available to how I can resolve the issue faced. This is an unknown dead end.

In the end I went through Special:BotPasswords and reset the password which led to a successful login.
[I have subsequently found that when I linked the SUL account for foundation.wikimedia.org it has seen that as a password change and that a reset of the bot password is required] So the question is there a specified error message from the system that AWB could replicate? is there the ability to a pointer to MW https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Manual:Bot_passwords or somewhere as a check to how to fix things.
