Users should be able to see what the gadget actually does instead of a text description. For the list of userscripts at wikidata we provide images next to most of our userscripts: https://www.wikidata.org/wiki/Wikidata:Tools/Enhance_user_interface

Benefits (why should this be implemented?):

Users would be more likely to add userscripts as official gadgets as they would get as much visibility in their offered functionality as our current userscript list provides.
