The problem is not only on design, is also on usability. The WMF "redesigned" pages, but they forgot the mos tvisited one and didn't make any proposal. If the Main page is our main entry point, we should think on what kind of contents should be there, and some of them may be modular and dynamic, so out of the possibilities of the community, becuase they ask for a deep coding that currently is not available.

Maybe the (global) community can try to host some sort of "competition" to propose better design of Homepages?

Would it be possible for the foundation to become a member of the foundation? It's seems cheap, and would be an appropriate next step after the trials with element.io?

(wikitech.wikimedia.org is a subproject of Cloud-Services so behavior is intended (guess it was made a subproject by using that broken script, see T342275))

This task was supposed to be part of the Developer-Advocacy team's efforts. The group no longer exists. If the need arises again to grow the list of projects at Wikimedia-Developer-Portal, the Tech-Docs-Team who owns the portal might be the right team to reach out to.

@nskaggs I agree, I designed GUS2wiki to allow multiple people to run it. (it detects if the page has been updated recently and skips it in that case) I also agree about a human as the primary runner being problematic, but whatcha gonna do.
