While some of the actions won’t work right away, we are working to support more coming soon. You will be able to switch back to Google Assistant in app settings.

At launch had utility, but as is too often the case with Google, it has decayed to uselessness. The most frequent response I get is "I'm sorry, something went wrong with the connection." its almost as of taking everything off device is a terrible idea when integrating something with Android Auto. It has taken my text message prompt to person X, had me re-record the message three times, then responded I'm sorry, person X isn't in your address book (my wife, so...no). Too many examples to list.

Rarely works anymore. Some days it does and others it doesn't. Pressing the microphone always gets results. Saying "Hey Google" randomly works or doesn't work. WORTHLESS! UPDATE: Wiped phone back to factory settings. After trying all suggestions posted on youtube, the web and this site, I finally bit the bullet and did the factory reset. Reinstalled my backup and updated all apps - Assistant is working again.

This used to work great, however, I've lost hours reformatting my phone, twice. Come to find out it was an update likely. It's been weeks now, I have a home smart system with voice integration 150+. It's non-functional. I've pinpointed the issue to Gemini and it's working now. Very annoyed, previously i formatted , then upon executing the update - stops. I ask Google if she recognizes my voice, she suddenly says "no" but she knew before. Once Gemini was completed it started working from hey goog
