​Ingredients required​

2 tsp cumin seeds, 3 bay leaf, 2 cinnamon sticks, 4 black cardamom, 1 nutmeg, 1 mace, 2 star anise, 4 black cardamom, 6 green cardamom, 2 cloves, 10-12 black pepper, 4 dried red chillies, 2 tbsp coriander seeds, 1.5 tsp Kashmiri red chili powder, 2 tbsp fennel seeds, and 1/2 tsp turmeric powder

​Step 1​

To begin with, take a wide pan and heat it on low flame.

Step 2

Roast cumin seeds, nutmeg, mace, bay leaf, star anise, cinnamon, black cardamom, and green cardamom.

​Step 3​

In the next batch, roast cloves, coriander seeds, black pepper, dry red chili, and fennel seeds.

​Step 4​

Sauté all the ingredients well on low to medium flame for 4- 6 minutes, or until a nice aroma comes.

​Step 5​

Switch off the flame and allow it to cool down. Transfer into a mixer jar and grind to a fine powder.

Now add turmeric powder, red chilli powder and mix all the ingredients using a spoon or spatula.
