Qbtech is the global market leader in ADHD tests. The first ADHD tests to be CE marked and FDA cleared.

Om oss

Qbtech is a market-leading provider of objective ADHD tests in countries across the world, FDA cleared for use in patients aged 6-60. Clinicians still solely rely on subjective data to diagnose ADHD in patients, which can provide conflicting results. By adding objective measures, with QbTest or QbCheck, clinicians can reduce the effects of subjectivity and get a better, data-driven understanding of core ADHD symptoms with easy-to-read reports. We offer comprehensive clinical support from a team of dedicated advisors, ranging from installation and onboarding to refresher training and report consultation as and when needed in individual evaluations. Children with developmental concerns may find certain activities in school or at home more difficult. Identifying the cause is important and ruling ADHD in or out can help. However, demand for ADHD evaluation can be high and there may be significant delays between positive screening results and receiving diagnostic services. Telehealth can help to accelerate the pathway to early diagnosis, intervention, and treatment. A 2022 study by La Valle et al., concluded that telehealth can help families in remote locations to access “timely clinical expertise and specialty input". Did you know that there are three subtypes of ADHD? 👉 Primarily hyperactive-impulsive ADHD presentation 👉 Primarily inattentive ADHD presentation (previously called ADD) 👉 Combined presentation Although all three subtypes are ADHD, their symptoms can differ. Primarily hyperactive-impulsive ADHD is the type most people are more familiar with. Typical symptoms include fidgeting, interrupting, and struggling with sitting still. Primarily inattentive ADHD is more closely related to concentration and focus. Patients may struggle with memory, losing things, and organization. Combined presentation is a combination of the two. During an evaluation for ADHD, clinicians will ask patients about symptoms relating to each subtype, to identify which diagnosis is most suitable. An objective test like QbTest can also help with this, as data is available on each of the core symptoms of ADHD. #ADHDtypes #LivingWithADHD Image: Qbtech Company Days 2023

Events like these are always bittersweet. There is an INCREDIBLE amount of information being shared and it’s leaving me hunngrrryyyyy (🍔🌮🍕🍿) to get implementing. But the ‘bitter’ part is knowing where to start. If everything needs your attention, what do you start with? When I start getting overwhelmed with this I have to remind myself of the MOST important thing in marketing And that’s your customer. ➡️ you don’t need to be on every channel ➡️ you don’t need to hop on every trend ➡️ you don’t need to have every AI tool Just know your customer, and connect with them authentically. In my opinion, this is the only important marketing strategy you need to remember. (Great day at the Digital Marketing World Forum here in London with the Qbtech team)

ADHD is a highly treatable condition. However, for those using stimulant or non-stimulant medications, a regular supply of their medications is critical. Sometimes a specific brand of medication may be unavailable, but a similar or non-branded alternative can be prescribed. Whilst it is understandable to be nervous about such changes, objective testing can help. Tests like QbTest can be used in treatment management, supporting clinicians to identify optimal doses, even when medication might need a change due to supply issues. #ADHDmedication #Stimulants #MedicationShortage

You may be familiar with using objective testing to help diagnose ADHD. However, did you know that objective tests like QbTest can also be used for ADHD treatment management in children and adults? Clinicians can compare baseline data (before treatment) with test results after treatment has started. This can help with reviewing dosages and assessing treatment effect. Bijlenga et al. (2015) found that QbTest identified a clinical improvement in 57% of patients after treatment, compared to 40% when ADHD-RS was used (p=0.036). It can be difficult to distinguish between developmental concerns and ADHD in younger children. Children can develop at different rates and comparisons with siblings or in the classroom can be unhelpful. This is particularly true when the age range in a classroom can vary by up to 12 months. Remote ADHD testing using telehealth can provide answers even when traveling to a clinic for assessment isn't possible. Families can undertake testing via telehealth at home, with the results interpreted by a clinician. This can provide families with a diagnosis and answer the question of whether symptoms are linked to ADHD or developmental concerns. Understanding how ADHD is treated in children can be complex. However, here are three key principles to remember: 👉 Objective testing can help with diagnosis by comparing the test taker's results with a normative group of the same age and sex at birth, for accurate diagnosis. 👉Medication may need to be adjusted over time. Objective testing can be used to measure treatment response and inform dosage changes. 👉As well as the treatment plan prescribed by a healthcare professional, some families have found making changes at home can help with symptom management. This might include implementing better routines, eating more healthily, and trying to improve sleep patterns. Learn about ADHD in children: https://ow.ly/IARP50Sib4K #ADHD #ADHDinchildren
