As a communications service provider (CSP) and telco software provider, we’ve seen how AI is reshaping customer experience (CX) in our industry. Here are some key takeaways: 🚀 Ambitious Proofs of Concept: 1. AI-powered fully automated telco service 2. Two-way conversational commerce 3. App-less interfaces with voice control These innovative ideas are still in the proof of concept phase, with investments growing in telco-specific data to mature large language models (LLMs). 🤖 Customer Care Innovations: 1. AI-driven chatbots boosting first call resolution by 50% 2. Personalizing communications at scale with Gen AI 3. Enhancing operations with AI detection and forecasting AI is making significant strides in customer service. IBM reports that 97% of CSPs saw improved customer satisfaction with conversational AI. McKinsey notes AI-enabled customer service creates better service, higher satisfaction, and increased engagement.
