Football career

change

At just over 5 ft 9 in (1.75 m), Hodgkinson was on the small side for a goalkeeper, but made up for the lack of height by his good positional play. He played for Sheffield United from 1954 to 1971 and for the England national football team from 1957 to 1960.

Hodgkinson died on 8 December 2015 at the age of 79.[1]
