Lawrence Walsh

United States federal judge (1912-2014)

Lawrence Edward Walsh (January 8, 1912 – March 19, 2014) was an American lawyer and former U.S. District Court judge and Deputy Attorney General.

Walsh grew up in New York City. He was appointed Independent Counsel in December 1986 to investigate the Iran-Contra affair during the Ronald Reagan Administration.

Walsh died from natural causes at the age of 102 at his Nichols Hills, Oklahoma home.[1]
