Fresno County, officially the County of Fresno, is a county located in the northern part of the U.S. state of California. As of 2020, the population was 1,008,654.[1] The county seat is Fresno,[2] the fifth-largest city in California. It is in the Central Valley, south of Stockton and north of Bakersfield.
